Travel Diary 6: Most Magical Place on Earth, Final

Happy Monday to you! An oxymoron if there ever was one. I just came home from a Relay for Life meeting– y’all, if you have never participated in Relay for Life, put it on your bucket list. It is one of the most inspiring and worthy events out there and you truly notice your own strength out there. But enough about that, I shall tell you more about it in May!
On January 1, we had originally intended to drive to Miami for a day trip and soak up some rays. As we were all exhausted, however, we opted to sleep in and hang out at our wonderful hotel. We stayed at Mariott’s Cypress Harbour Resort and had our own villa. I had a great time there- quaint and private, perfect for a family vacay.
The sun was shining, the air was fresh, it was time to tan!
But then I got bored. (I don’t understand the term– sitting still.) So I read Mini Shopaholic. Best book ever.
Not-so-flattering picture, but just photographic evidence that we actually went into the water. Jacuzzi water, that is. Soon enough, it was evening. I told you we slept in late!
3 pools. 1 sauna. A million gyms. And we only had the time and energy to visit one pool. Le sigh, why must we be such lazy, not-very-curious souls?
2 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms (one normal and one HEAVENLY with a Jacuzzi bigger than the size of my bed). 1 kitchen. 1 living room area. 1 eating area. Actually, make that 2 eating areas because of our lovely screen-ed in patio. Um, and some other stuff. Quite amazing.
So long, Florida.
PS. Okay, now, can I go back?
